I've stayed here several times in several different sized rooms and they've all been wonderful. The staff is very nice and the hotel is located in a very convenient and scenic part of Falmouth. The smell of the ocean adds to the ambience
Our 5 years old daughter strongly refused to use it and there was no way we could shower our 1 year old baby in it. We complained to the management and they said they will take care of it, BUT THEY DIDN'T!!! They left it like this for our entire stay, and we had to shower our kids in a plastic tub from Walmart.
In my opinion, DO NOT go to this motel!
Horrible experience!!!
This motel is just a disgrace!!!
The hotel was fantastic. We got to our room after the office closed and left before they opened. They left our key in a drop box for us which was very convenient. The room was above the British beer company so we were able to get food and drinks then stumble back to our room without having to drive. Even above a bar our room was very quiet and we slept right through the night without a problem. Great stay!
We booked the rooms 6 months in advance and we stated that we're coming with kids.
You can definitely find better options there than this motel.
I grew up on Cape Cod, so I'm not just a tourist who was staying here. I booked this room for convenience - our wedding was across the street. When I called to book the Seaside Inn a young woman initially helped me and she was rude and didn't give a warm comfortable feeling. to verify the location I asked if this hotel was across from the Vineyard/Nantucket Sounds, her response was "Uhh, it's the ocean if that's what you mean", okay she doesn't know what the sound is, no big deal, but no need to be rude about it. I told her this would be for our wedding at the casino wharf and she confirmed it was across the street. I asked for a room with a balcony and she confirmed there was one available. They still process their confirmations by standard mail so they had to mail me the confirmation, which is fine, but tells they are not willing to "get with the times", this would also include all of their furniture and appliances within the room; which are still from 1980 and not working well. When I got the confirmation I realized the room was on the first floor and there was no balcony. I called them back and got a mid-aged guy who acted like I was bothering him upon answering and I asked if there were any rooms with balconies remaining the week of our stay and mentioned it was for our wedding week; he replied immediately with a half-assed chuckle "Umm, No, I don't think so". I asked if he could check since he clearly didn't have time to between me asking and him responding; he said "yeah I did, there are none, thanks for calling." I was shocked by the attitude and lack of professional service. Someone in my group had later booked with a balcony. During my stay I saw the guy that I spoke with on the phone and he was not any better in person, he was a strung-out addict of some kind that was clearly upset to have to deal with any customer that morning. In order to get new towels they said I had to leave the "maid service" tag on the door for them to know to do this; providing new towels is usually pretty standard at any place of hospitality without having to put a notice on your door. With the fridge broke I told the front desk I would need more time to checkout, I was told "no problem take your time". So I took my time and about 2 hours later, at 11:30, I got a call from her "So are you checking out or what?, we really need you out of the room now someone else is checking in, so we need you out immediately". You can really tell the status and integrity of a place of business when things go wrong and they act like it was your fault. Do NOT stay at this Inn! Nightmare! Later addition - To add to how horrible this place is, I just got a call (a month later) from the Manager, who does not conduct himself well over the phone, basically telling me that I lied about my entire experience and kept talking over me to make a point about how I'm lying. The call had one purpose - to tell me I'm wrong in my experience, because he didn't listen to a thing I said. It went perfectly with everything I had experienced with this place, made me chuckle a bit
Our room had a problem with the shower head which had a very strong and unpleasant stream.
Great rooms. Everyone is friendly and wants to be helpful. We will keep coming back.
This place was horrible; a bad experience from start to finish. They don't have a way to book online, need to mail you verification. Check-out time is the same as Check-in time, so there is no leeway for checkout and they don't leave themselves anytime to clean before check-in, they were kicking me out at 11:30. They will charge you one week before you check-in, so there is no way to cancel. Their amenities are from the 1980s, 30 years outdated and my fridge broke before checking out which they told me to basically kick rocks and that they would fix when I left. The electric was flakey at best with lights that didn't work and electrical outlets that will only work with 2 prong plugs, any devices that require a ground or third outlet will not work in most of the outlets. I told them about this issue as well and they couldn't have cared less. Hot water heater is about to go, it takes 2 minutes for warm water to come out and the AC units are so loud it was hard to sleep.
