Our hosts, Bob and Barbara made us feel welcome and at home, from the outset. Wonderful breakfasts, and home made cakes served in the afternoon. They move from place to place, and any b&b who has them for a time, will be very blessed and privelidged.

We stayed in the Carriage room which is the Apt because we had 2 adults and 2 kids and the room was massive! Plus we there are 3 beds and a trundle and I believe the couch turns into a bed! Plus there is a kitchen off the bedroom as well as a separate "mud" room! So much space, so clean and immaculate! We walked into town after the amazing breakfast from Linda and George who were the most wonderful Hosts! Thank you for our perfect family getaway.
Had a wonderful stay here, the owners were on vacation so we interacted with the great 'inn-sitters' who are running the place while they were gone. We just stayed one night but everything was up to par. Complementary breakfast was delicious and the location made getting around town a breeze. Cancellation policy is more strict than I would expect but I can understand why it is that way. Make sure you read through the details when booking when choosing your dates. Bed in our room was comfortable but had a squeaky headboard. If you shifted around at all it was quite loud, my wife said it woke her up a few times, probably not a good choice if you have amorous plans. Overall a good experience in the off season.
Captain Tom Lawrence House Inn far exceeded our expections! It is perfectly located near Main Street. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was wonderful and the the inn keepers, George and Linda were wonderful, kind and accommodating! I highly recommend!

Lovely comfy beds, nice hot showers, pleasant relaxing surroundings, board games, ( great for wet days which we had!) easy walk from town.
