So I use falmouth taxi at least twice daily. To and from work. So I called them up last night after work and the guy told me the next 20 minutes. When i went outside 20 minutes after, there was no cab. So I called him again and he said the cab came and left because I wasnt there. Mind you it is cold outside so I wasnt going to stay in the cold for 20 minutes. He told me another cab would come in 10 minutes. So I swallowed my pride and went outside. 17 minutes pass and there was no cab. So I called him back. I ask if the cab was on its way. He hissed his teeth and hang up on me. This is not the way you threat customers. Just so you know. You need to get some "how to conduct yourself lessons".
Arthur drove me exactly for 10 minutes and charged me 30 dollars! (before the tip!) It was not a rush hour. I called the company and explained the situation. They told me that they would get back to me. However, almost three weeks passed and they never called back. Do not use this company. They would rip you off.
Cars are old, defective. No concern for the consumer or the driver, for that matter.
Parents have been using them to take us to the ferry from the airport for years, they have never gotten new vehicles. Their vans are falling apart! It's disgusting. No seat belts because they were all broken, no air conditioning in 90 degree weather. If you want to stay cool, not risk your life, and ride in a car that doesn't feel like it's going to crumble at any moment, don't use this company. Invest in new cars for christ sake or you're going to lose business
We called for a cab after getting off the ferry. It took 20 minutes for a cab to arrive, but when the driver came he ran out of the car without making eye contact and went into the Steamship Authority where he stayed for 20 minutes. We tried going in after him but couldn't find him. We called a second time while the driver was in the building. When the driver finally came out, he said he had not been notified that anyone needed a cab. Once we were in the cab and driving away we got a text that the cab had arrived.
