I booked a hair appointment with Grace a couple of weeks ago. The spa is beautiful, clean and the staff are wonderful. I loved the cut and am planning on going back in a couple of weeks!
Diane, the owner, provides a professional, relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I highly recommend treating yourself to a treatment at this spa. You will not be disappointed. Diane is someone that wants the best for her customers and treats them like new friends.
My experience is based on me booking an appointment. I can't comment on getting a service as I never received one. Owner is extremely pushy. I have worked in the beauty industry for 15 years as a stylist, manager, and educator. I have never heard of these policies and don't agree with them. I was told they had a 24 hour cancellation policy and would be charged if I didn't cancel within these hours. Well I booked within 24 hours. Also I have had these policies in place before but did them as a no show. This isn't a doctors office here. It's a spa. Second. I was told to bring 20% gratituty in cash for my massage therapist. Excuse me? A tip is not required. It is me tipping you for the service rendered. If someone does an amazing job, I have no problem tipping 30% plus. However I am not tipping a job not done well from beginning to end. It's my choice how much they deserve. I am in no way saying I am a non tipper but do tip according to the service. If I am required to tip 20% then that doesn't make the therapist do their best. After I called and stated I was not coming in, the owner called a few times offering me 10$ off. However I am already turned off by the experience and will not be going there. There are way better places that are more relaxing I feel just by the phone calls alone.
