If you want to send you children to a place where they do not watch them, this is the place for you. Our son was coming home with bumps and bruises saying his classmates were hitting him, we asked why the teachers didn't help and he said they don't care. It wasn't until after this that we found out that other parents were having similar experiences with their children coming home "beat-up". When we asked the director about this, we were told that our child was not a good fit for the school and asked to leave. I wouldn't let them watch my goldfish! Payments that we made went "missing", the turnover rate was unbelievable, we never knew who the new "teacher" was watching our child, I could go on and on. It is obvious that they do not care about the children here and it is such a shame. We enrolled our child here because of the stellar reputation the school had when Robin ran it, to say we are disappointed is a complete understatement.
I highly recommend this preschool - as a working mother of 3. I have had two of my children attend here over the past 5 years. Couldnt find more caring and nurturing staff that can offer the best educational tools for your children. Full-time care with peace of mind!
I have known the owner of Friendship Garden, Robin, for more than 10 years. I met her when my son, now 14, was in pre-school. I speak very highly of her, her wonderful staff and the lovely setting of her Nursery School. The playground is very spacious and is an almost fairy-tale-like setting nestled among the pines.....complete with a small barn with chickens! My daughter has been there for nearly a year and LOVES it. She has made great connections with her fellow schoolmates, beams when she talks about her pre-K teacher, Miss Roberta and has had a really great experience in this clean, down to earth, enriching environment. Her transition to Kindergarten in the fall will be that much better because of her year at FGNS.
We have had 2 of our three children in friendship garden nursery school and cannot say enough great things about it . The staff is amazing the school is clean and they have a great playground. My children have had a great experience there an I can't wait till our baby is old enough to go!
