Lovely cozy place. Good menu...average priced. Has a bar. Lots of people on an off time. Food was good.
Unbelievably good food. Atmosphere is cozy, fireplace in dining room. All staff lovely.
Stopped by for a quick lunch on Friday afternoon, and we were seated immediately. Loved the old beams and stained glass. Wait staff was quick and attentive. The cup ot clam chowder was very tasty but, lacked clams and potatoes. My Small Lobster Roll however was HUGE. Giant pieces of lobster, light mayo and seasoning. I ordered it with melted butter and lemon on the side, not a problem. Had to eat 1/2 with a fork. My wife's Haddock Chowder was very good, would order it again. And the Ruben sandwich was very good too, even left over later for a snack.
Went in for a drink and appetizer. The bar was full so we tried to grab a high top table. Other than the bar, the place was empty. We were told we could not have a table unless we planned to have dinner. We decided to leave rather than wait for a seat at the bar to open (when there were MANY open tables).
We went to this place due to great yelp reviews and it being right were we parked. First thing I noticed was it was packed with locals.... A good sign in a town with hundreds of dining options. The food and the service were excellent and everything we ordered was delicious. (sometimes a tough order on the cape in the summer) Kid friendly too. This is going to be our favorite place to dine.
