What was most bothersome about this experience was the lack of concern for a child's well beingand, the unwillingness of the receptionist to work with our circumstances, and the failure of the list to help those with immideate needs. This is the most pathetic urgent care I have seen.
This place was wonderful. There was no wait when I went (which I'm sure is just fortuitous) and the staff was very pleasant. The doctor took the time to explain how treatments had evolved since the last time I had this problem and why he was prescribing a particular medication over an other, which I greatly appreciated. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy (which, honestly, I don't care about bedside manner all that much personally, but I understand its import to some people). There was no problem with having the prescription sent to my pharmacy. Overall, as great as any experience at an urgent care clinic can be!
During our 1 hour and 30 minute wait time we watched a large amount of patients come and go. One of which was apparently a friend of Jennifer, assumed because of the prolonged family conversation. Somehow she had a 10 minute total wait time over a man with a bleeding face (waiting in excess of 50 minutes), who eventually called an ambulance because he was feeling lightheaded, and my younger minor brother with a bleeding ear.
Efficient friendly staff who treated me with respect and got me on the antibiotic I needed to feel better
Appreciated the fast, quick, service while I was on vacation. The staff has to realize that the doors are thin, and can hear staff coercing right outside the door. All in all good visit with kind staff.
When I first checked in I was greeted by a short temper and a very disrespectful demeaner when giving medical information and working with the front desk receptionist, Jennifer. My younger 15 year old brother, which is a child, had an ear infection and blood was coming out of his ear. Our parents were out of the country and Jennifer made it extremely clear that I needed to be his legal guardian for him to be treated and requested I leave. She refused service to my younger brother, a child, twice until the doctor said a simple phone call or faxed permission paper would suffice. I immediately had my parents call the office however, Jennifer requested that I leave, have my parents call or fax the permission paper, then return to have my brothers bleeding ear treated. At that point, I understood that Jennifer wanted us to leave.
Extremely disrespectful front desk, lack of prioritizing critical issues, and very long wait. Better off at ER.
I took my wife in and she was seen quickly - Sunday and nobody else there I guess - I ended-up with a large bill though. The have a rinky-dink way of billing and I found out that while the doctor charges were in-network, the facility itself in out-of-network on my Aetna coverage. Health-care is broken in this country. Just be sure if you go here your insurance will cover their charges. Next time in an emergency we'll just go to a hospital emergency facility.
