Enjoyed watching the chef repeatedly toss the pizza base in the air and catch it cleanly! ;-)
Finally! Great pizza on the Cape! I'm always on the hunt for good pizza but am always disappointed. Most places seem to use cheap ingredients to cut corners and save costs, which results in flavorless pizza that's not worth ever ordering again. I decided to give Simply Divine a try because of it's great location, but mostly because it was obvious from their website that they care about the ingredients they use. This is the best pizza I've had in years....anywhere! Excellent taste and quality! Even the crust has great texture and flavor. And the atmosphere is delightful too, warm and cozy, with a nice bar. They named it right - it truly IS divine!!
Yum pizzas, however I guess we were at rush hour, so were served pizza almost an hour after we got there!
From the moment we walked in, we sensed a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The hostess was very polite, the waiter, Sam, was attentive and always made sure we were satisfied, and the pizza and antipasti were fresh and just really good. Will definitely go out of our way to come back if we find ourselves in the area again!
Always a go to place every year I visit with my family...never again! A young family with 3 children were finishing their meals and setting to pay their bills when their youngest child became very upset and a bit cranky... nothing any one of us haven't dealt with. Apparently one of the local bar flies was not pleased and asked a Divine worker to address it... who did...and asked the young mother to calm the child and needed her to begin to leave! She did, just to come back and blast him...applause to her! I do believe the Manager on duty told the worker to remedy what he did and he apologized... just for my family to openly listen to him patronize her to other customers after she left. Utterly disgusting behavior. Ps Divine.....we tourists keep you and your businesses running!
My boyfriend fell in love with the pizza at Simply Divine. He loved the fact he could customize it to whatever he wanted and the fire brick oven made it all worth while. The staff was very accommodating with my wheat allergy and made me a special pesto gluten free pasta dish which they don't normally have. We will be revisiting this restaurant on a trip back to Falmouth!
