Excellent baked goods and quick service. Don't be afraid of the long line, it moves quickly. They have the best croissants around. And they are open until 10! This place is a must visit if you are in Woods Hole!
Soup (New England Chowder) was good and hearty, but more potato soup than clam chowder).
We came back on a ferry escaping hurricane Jose. Soaked, cold, and tired Pie in The Sky was a warm cozy spot. We took refuge in the corner and ordered some lunch. The service was friendly and quick. The Vermonter sandwich was so good. The tart apples with melted cheese and salty ham blended perfectly.the BIT was also good, followed up with hot coco to finish the day. All told we were here for two hours trying to unwind from the stress of travel and the staff was still friendly and kind. Thank you!
Chicken salad sandwich was skimpy on the chicken salad and the a tad flavorless.
Salad looked great - lettuce & veggies looked fresh(didn't try it, so dont know about taste).
Nice place to grab a quick pastry or sandwich. Great outdoor covered patio with a bunch of tables, you can even get some that overlooked the water.
The coffee was great. We even got a pound of ground coffee (Ahab blend) to go. It was a nice smooth blend that we had to take home with us after our vacation.
This place was just fine. My low reviews mainly have to do with the service. I felt like I was in some NYC deli being yelled at. It was a bit stressful to be a customer. The prices are also quite high for average food. Yeah, it has some charm but for a lunch spot, I would choose somewhere else.
Dessert (chocolate mousse pie) was one of the best I've tasted.
